Every Thursday in August, MS Langfoss invites you aboard for a three-hour culinary fjord cruise in Åkrafjorden — authentic local food, a Viking meal cooked over open fire, and the very best of the fjord landscape and culture. Departure from Fjæra pier at 19:00, return approx. 22:00.
Awakening the senses
Come aboard MS Langfoss and experience Åkrafjorden at its very best. Food & Fjord is a three-hour culinary fjord cruise where spectacular scenery, local food traditions and great stories meet.
Through the evening you'll taste authentic ingredients from the region, enjoy a meal cooked over open fire and experience the mighty Langfossen up close. Along the way we share stories of the fjord, the people and the traditions that have shaped this area for generations.
The menu is developed in collaboration with Skakke Røykeri and offers local specialities with a modern twist. You can also choose a carefully composed drinks package with cider from award-winning producers in Hardanger, or an alcohol-free drinks package with flavours just as good.
This is an experience for anyone who appreciates good food, beautiful scenery and authentic West Norwegian culture.
